Mission Bush Pilot and Nurse

After spending three years in Guyana, South America, we have now moved to Bewani, 50 Km south of Vanimo, Papua New Guinea. We have started a new humanitarian aviation ministry here. In visiting with health officials and church people here, the need for an aviation program to reach into remote villages became very apparent. We are taking health workers and medicines/vaccines, into remote village airstrips and bringing out critically ill patients to the hospital. We also fly in educational materials for schools, as well as take in Bible workers. Toni is helping with the medical end of things, while Gary takes care of the flying part. We have several local lay missionaries we sponsor and we do ground transport for patients as well. We are volunteers here to serve our God and the unreached people of Papua New Guinea. We have a great need for more people to join in this effort.

Hi family and friends
It has been awhile since some of you have heard from us.  We are still here in the US awaiting a visa from PNG (Papua New Guinea). The plane modifications are done, but there is still some paperwork to finish before we can fly it. We have been very busy though. We have had lots of speaking appointments and are getting supplies ready to ship to PNG.  The Lord has provided beyond what we ever expected. When we are working for Him,  He provides for the needs of the project, since it is His project for His children in PNG.  We have had lots of opportunities to share with others how God is faithful. We feel we are ready to leave for PNG, but it seems that God still has some work for us to do here before then.  Toni has been given enough work, that she has been able to get the necessary hours she  to keep her Arizona nurse's license active.  She only found out about this requirement after she started working.  God provided for a need we didn't realize we had. So many people have helped provide supplies for us to take down to use on the project, from Bibles, to clothes to equipment.  God is still and always will be faithful!  Our departure date could arrive anytime, but in the meantime we are busy doing the work the Lord gives us to do, knowing that we will leave for PNG on the date the Lord has already picked out for us.
We want to once again thank each of you for your prayers and support.  We also would love to hear from you.
